Audition: tenor wanted!!
Hi all … we are getting back up and running after an almost 2 year hiatus. If you are or know of a 1st tenor in or near the San Francisco Bay Area, we’d love to talk.
We are currently auditioning singers to fill our tenor position. We’re looking for someone with a wealth of jazz part-singing experience with great solo and improv chops. Clockwork will be making an appearance at the Los Angeles Harmony Sweepstakes a cappella competition – with special guest Trist Curless the amazing vocal bass from the super-group, m-pact! Trist will be taking the place of our entire rhythm section and killing it no doubt. The evening promises to be full of great singing and entertainment for the entire family.

Jazz on Sundays: Barbara Morrison’s Performing Arts Center
Sunday, April 10, 2011 we’re at Barbara Morrison’s Performing Arts Center for Jazz on Sundays, 5-8 pm. We’ll be singing with her killer trio, We have Stuart Elster on piano, James Leary on bass and Lee Spath on drums. Come on out … we’re doing tunes from our current CD, selections from our Art of Vocalese show and some solo stuff from each of us that will include Juliet’s and Dave’s witty lyricism and maybe even a heartbreaker ballad from Angie … we’ll do our best to make you smile and weep.

Vocal Workshop: Saturday, April 9 1:00-3:00 pm
Angie is going to be at Barbara’s place doing a vocal workshop on Saturday, April 9th from 1:00-3:00 pm, along with Barbara Morrison! Vocalists of all levels welcome!
Subjects will include theory, sight reading, phrasing, exercises, and how to keep your voice in shape. Barbara has entitled these Saturday workshops in April “How to survive in the Jazz World as a working Jazz Vocalist”. You must register in advance! Call 323-296-2272.
